- Introduction
- A dosshouse is a one-room house without basic amenities or facilities such as a kitchen and bathroom. It is usually offered for daily or monthly rental and is occupied by a single person. Unlike in Seoul or Daejeon where dosshouses are concentrated in a certain area, in the Daegu region, dosshouses are scattered throughout several areas. Mainly in Buk-gu (Chilseong-dong, Daehyeon-dong and Chimsan-dong), Seo-gu (Bisan-dong, Naedang-dong and Wondae-dong), Dong-gu (Sinam-dong and Sincheon-dong), Jung-gu (Dalseong-dong, Taepyeong-ro and Dongin-dong). Daegu Dosshouse Center supports such dosshouse residents and help them stand on their own feet. Love Community supports dosshouse residents through this center.
